Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard! Oh My God You Killed Shade!!! Why oh why!!! Ok now that is out of the way! Let me say OMG this series has two more books left in it and I cant see where this story going it can go so many different ways!!!! I want Mare to be with Cal so bad but then again the whole thing with Maven has me wondering if she can truly love anyone again!!! As for Farley I can not believe you killed shade, but I am so glad they are going to have a baby! That can only be the question that she was wondering specially since she gently put her hand on her stomach!!! I can see Cameron and Kilorn being together! I have no clue whose side Jon is on, and it’s driving me nuts! Ugh I CAN NOT wait till the next book!!!

Duckling” and “The Steadfast Tin Soldier,” SCEPTER OF FIRE is a companion book
to CROWN OF ICE, my retelling of “The Snow Queen.” It takes place a few years
later, in the midst of an invasion by a power-mad foreign emperor, and includes
most of the characters from CROWN OF ICE.
someone new—17yo Varna Lund, an ugly duckling among swans, who’s certain her
destiny lies in taking on the mantle of village healer after the death of her
aged mentor. But when a young soldier enlists her aid to care for his injured
friend, Varna and her sister, Gerda, are catapulted into the war that has
engulfed their country.
the two soldiers, Varna must also evade her mentor, Sten Rask—revealed to be a
powerful mage seeking the enchanted mirror hidden by a former Snow Queen.
Gerda, and the soldiers join forces with a sorceress, an enchanted reindeer, a
brilliant scholar, and a young woman traveling with a wolf. But Varna faces a
terrible temptation. Promised beauty and power by the devilishly handsome Rask,
she must choose—achieve her own desires, or protect a society that has never
OF ICE, and yet is different enough to set the books apart. Both feature
striking young women, but whereas CROWN is glazed with icy blue tones, SCEPTER
is saturated with reds, golds and other fiery hues. If you look closely, you
can even see flames reflected in the girl’s eyes—very appropriate for a book
that deals with sorcerers who wield fire. Although the cover model is not an
“ugly duckling,” she does accurately reflect the protagonist during one portion
of the book, which I will not reveal at this point due to “spoilers”!

Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard Wow I just fell in love with Cal!!!! What a great book I can not wait to read more about the characters!!!
Ok after reading it a second time and reading the novellas first, it helped so much clearing up some questions I had!!! I love this series I’m a little sad that there is going to be only two more books coming out!
Steel Scars by Vicotria Aveyard Wow I loved this little story!!!! I can’t wait to re-read Red Queen!!! I really hope there is more from shade and “lamb” I loved there story it was a great beginning!
Quinn song by Victoria Aveyard to me this novella was really confusing at the beginning then it really picked up then bam it ended. I would have loved to read more about what Elara was doing and why! Now I’m wondering what happen to Elara and the King! Did he take a new wife??? What happen
The Broken One by Christine H. Bailey I read this book in less than 12 hours! It’s started out kind slow and by the end it felt a little rushed, like there could have been more to the story. I was right there with Farris I felt everything she was going through. The only thing I have to say is, I’m not sure if I wanted to know why Garrett did it or for it to turn out that star did it. I think I need some closure on Farris and Lane’s realitionship and on who or why the killed her! I hope this is going to be a series! I really enjoyed the authors writing style!!!
I received this from netgalley for a honest review!
Genesis Girl (Blank Slate) by Jennifer Bardsley This story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I feel in love with the character so easy and quickly, usually it’s just a couple of characters I love and want to know more about but I have to say I was drawed into every character! From the main character to her headmaster!!! I can’t wait to read the next book, I’m hooked!!!
revealing the cover and first chapter for un/FAIR which releases September 6,

my world turned upside-down. I spent
years playing special games with him to help him understand the world
better. But in the process, I learned to
understand him. While I struggled to
pull him into our world, he quietly pulled me into his. This book came out of that.
got a certain scene on the cover or why I didn’t put a particular character on
the front. The truth is, authors almost
never draw the book covers. We get a
picture of it by email, and it’s always a surprise, like getting an early
birthday present. Sometimes the present
is a wool sweater you want to wad into a ball and stuff under the bed. Sometimes the present is a toy you didn’t
know you wanted until you got it. The
cover for un/FAIR was the latter. Ryan
looks very much like I imagined him in my head, and the salamanders creeping
down the top make it clear this isn’t a happy fairy book. The artist even snuck in a reference to the
Fibonacci sequence! I loved getting this
multiple fantasy and science fiction novels written for adults, notably the
Clockwork Empire and Silent Empire series for Roc as Steven Harper and movie
novelizations and tie ins for Pocket Books as Steven Piziks (IDENTITY, THE
EXORCIST: THE BEGINNING, GHOST WHISPERER: THE PLAUGE ROOM). He’s also the father of an autistic son.
Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen I was totally surprised by this book! I love Scarlett and Haliey! I wanted to smack Haliey a few hundred times. The only thing I absolutely didn’t like was the fact that I never knew if the grandparents every found out about the baby!!!! If there is a second part to this books please someone let me know!!! There needs to be I would love to see Macon straighten up and try to convince Haliey and her parents he changed!! I would love to read form Cameron’s point of view and see him and scarlet together!!!
Pretty Girls By Karin Slaughter. Well I didn’t care to much for this book. It took me for ever to finish it! It might have just been cause I listened to it in audio but lord it was so slow and drawed out that I felt a weight lift off my shoulders! Don’t get me wrong this book had parts that had me hanging on to the edge of my seat but to me it took for ever for things to come together. I will most likely give this book another try next year and actually read it instead of listen to it.
